Emma has spent 25 years working in Advertising, holding several positions as ECD, after starting her career following studying Design at Falmouth School of Art. In 2017, Emma joined the LEGO Group and now heads up the London Hub of the integrated in-house Agency, Our LEGO Agency (OLA) creating communication that engages millions of children in physical and digital play to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.
Emma has served on many juries including Dubai Lynx, Cannes Lions and D&AD. Contributes regularly at speaking events including the London Mayors Equal Play Conference, The In-house Agency Leaders Club, Cannes Chief Creatives on the Beach, Eurobest and Adweek Europe and has been published in The Guardian, The Drum and Fast Company.
A born and bred Londoner, Emma is passionate about diversity and inclusion and over the years has worked on a number of initiatives in this space, including setting up the London arm of the women’s mentoring programme 'Who's Your Momma'. Emma has played an instrumental role in supporting the LEGO Groups D&I ambitions to shape the future of play, providing direction for how the brand should strive for diversity in thought and inclusivity across experiences.
