Jo is an impressive, extremely experienced strategic and creative marketer. She has a fantastic depth of executive-level experience across an expansive range of global, iconic brands on both agency side and client side.

Some of the blue-chip brands Jo has been responsible for leading include: M&S, Sony Europe, Virgin, Bacardi Global, the BBC, MTV & Ch5 at ViacomCBS and British Airways. She inspires and leads highly integrated teams across marketing, creative, press, social digital and experiential for global businesses across multiple geographic markets.

She has helped create national Music Festivals, managed two MTV European Music Awards, developed TV shows, launched multiple global broadcast platforms, managed and launched global talent, social business and national digital platforms as well as help shape global brands.

Setting up both agency and client-side digital and content divisions and working on a number of big innovative global youth brands, has finely honed Jo’s extremely strong digital, social and experiential capabilities with a focus on ensuring her brands stay incredibly relevant and connected.

Jo’s creative drive and passion has led to numerous creative accolades, including D&AD’s, two BAFTAs and the Jury prize at the Royal Television Society. Elements of her campaigns were developed into the UK’s 2012 Olympics.

She oversaw British Airways globally at WPP, launched a new airline Level and led and the 100th anniversary brand campaign, evolving them to deliver more responsive and ultimately award-winning work.

She has recently been CMO, leading the marketing and creative partnerships teams at Reach, the biggest news publisher in the UK. She has been developing life changing campaigns with the UK’s national press – helping to fight climate change, giving UK youth a national voice on her platforms and seeing a change in British law on organ donations.

Jo is passionate about supporting women and has also helped launch a women’s charity Rosa, the UK’s first umbrella fund for women’s charities to go to for national funding.

Jo has also always been passionate about beauty, as well as fashion, design, food & travel and is a rather obsessive shopper.
